He received bachelor's degrees in Elementary Education and Mathematics Education through a double major program at Anadolu University, Türkiye, and a master's degree in Measurement and Evaluation in Education from Hacettepe University, Türkiye. He successfully passed his doctoral qualifying examination with an A1 (100/100) score and is currently at the dissertation proposal stage of his PhD program.
Before entering academia, he worked as a classroom teacher at METU Development Foundation Schools (ODTÜ GVO) Primary School in Ankara, Türkiye, for 1.5 years. Since April 2023, he has been serving as a full-time research assistant and continues in this position.
His research focuses on factor analysis, measurement invariance, response styles, network psychometrics, and missing data. His master's thesis examined factor retention methods in exploratory factor analysis (EFA) using ordinal data.
