Özet

Spontaneous rupture of the renal pelvis is very rare. A pre-existing renal abnormality increases the risk of rupture. We present a 47-year-old man with spontaneous rupture of a unilateral renal pelvis. During the exploration a retroperitoneal urinoma was seen which was caused by high grade hydronephrosis due to ureteropelvic junction obstruction. Differential diagnosis and treatment of this case are discussed and the literature is reviewed.
