Özet

artmaktadır. Bunun en önemli nedeni organ kısıtlılığının yaşanmasıve yeterli bağışçı bulunmamasıdır. Araştırma, hemşirelik öğrencilerininorgan bağışına yönelik tutumlarını ve etkili faktörleri belirlemekamacıyla yapılmıştır.Yöntem: Kesitsel tipteki bu araştırma, Haziran 2015-Mayıs 2016 tarihleriarasında hemşirelik öğrencilerinde yürütülmüştür (N=519).Veriler, yüz yüze “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” ve “Organ Bağışına İlişkinTutumlar Ölçeği” ile toplanmış, sayı, yüzde dağılımları, Mann WhitneyU, Kruskal Wallis ve post-hoc analizleri kullanılmıştır. Anlamlılıkdüzeyi p<0.005 olarak kabul edilmiştir.Bulgular: Öğrencilerin, Organ Bağışına İlişkin Tutum Ölçeği puanortalaması 59.15±11.31’dir. Yaş, sınıf düzeyi, en uzun yaşanılan yer, anne ve baba eğitim düzeyi ile öğrencilerin organ bağışına ilişkintutum puan ortalamaları arasında istatistik olarak anlamlı fark bulunmuştur(p<0.05).Sonuç: Öğrencilerin organ bağışına ilişkin tutumları “kararsızım”düzeyindedir. Bu bulgular doğrultusunda geleceğin sağlık profesyonellerininorgan bağışı konusunda tutumlarını değiştirme konusundadesteklenmesi gerektiği düşünülmektedir.
Aim: The need for organ donation is increasing all over the world. The most important reason for this is the organ limitation and the lack of sufficient donors. The research was conducted to determine the attitudes of nursing students towards organ donation and the influential factors. Method: This cross-sectional study was conducted on nursing students between June 2015 and May 2016 (N = 519). The data were collected face-to-face using the “Personal Information Form” and “Attitudes towards Organ Donation Scale”, number, percentage distributions, Mann Whitney U, Kruskal Wallis and post-hoc analysis were used. Significance level was accepted as p <0.005. Results: The average score of the Students’ Attitude Scale towards Organ Donation is 59.15 ± 11.31. A statistically significant difference was found between the age, grade level, the place where the longest lived, the education level of the mother and father and the mean scores of the students towards organ donation (p <0.05). Conclusion: Students’ attitudes towards organ donation are at the “undecided” level. In line with these findings, it is thought that health professionals of the future should be supported in changing their attitudes towards organ donation.
