Özet

The features of various projects undertaken help people with mild dementia, are discussed. The COGKNOW project aims to address the need of information (regarding treatment or support), communication, and help for memory problems and psychological distress by involving individuals with dementia with the project. It also aims to use contextual information and wireless and mobile device technologies, including location based services, to create a cognitive prosthetic prototype, which can be patient in their homes. The Foundation for Scientific and Industrial Research at the Norwegian Institute of Technology is applying an agile model-driven development process in its M-Power project, to develop a service framework that will provide reusable and interoperable service specifications. The project will enable the development of smart-home sensor applications to support collaborative care of people with mild dementia.
