Özet

Since the first SARS-CoV-2 infection was reported at the end of 2019, the COVID-19 pandemic has been a problem that has led to severe mortality, morbidity and socioeconomic consequences all over the world and overwhelming efforts have been made to overcome it.[1] Therefore, it is important to examine and understand the symptoms of COVID-19, diagnostic methods and all factors that may affect prognosis.[2] Some COVID-19 patients do not require hospitalisation, some require ward treatment or intensive care hospitalisation, and some patients are lost despite all efforts.[3] It is essential to thoroughly analyze the factors that affect the prognosis, such as the mutation of the COVID-19 virus or potential future pandemics. In predicting prognosis, various parameters such as age, comorbidity, symptom type, and laboratory values are analysed and used in practical patient follow-up.[4,5] The parameters we researched are intended to guide physicians in predicting prognosis and coping with the disease.
