Çocuk ve Ergen Mükemmeliyetçilik Ölçeği Revize Formunun Türkçeye Uyarlanması: Üstün Yetenekli ve Normal Çocuklarda Psikometrik Değerleri

Özet

Bu çalışmanın amacı revize edilmiş Çocuk ve Ergen Mükemmeliyetçilik Ölçeğini Türkçeye uyarlamak ve psikometrik değerlerini normal ve üstün yetenekli çocuklar üzerinde incelemektir. Araştırmanın katılımcılarını Türkiye’de farklı illerde normal gelişim gösteren (normal zekâya sahip) 411 çocuk ve ergen ile Bilim ve Sanat Eğitim Merkezlerine devam eden 130 ve üzeri IQ puanı almış akademik olarak üstün yetenekli 386 çocuk ve ergenler oluşturmaktır. Veri toplama aracı olarak Revize Çocuk ve Ergen Mükemmeliyetçilik Ölçeği, (R-ÇEMÖ), Olumlu ve Olumsuz Mükemmeliyetçilik Ölçeği, Narsistik Hayranlık ve Rekabet Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Çocuk ve Ergen Mükemmeliyetçilik Ölçeği’nin normal çocuklarda uyum iyiliği değerlerinin ki-kare (χ², CMIN) = 265.57, serbestlik derecesi (sd) = 96, χ²/sd = 2.77, Standartlaştırılmış Ortalama Karekök Artık (SRMR) = .055, Yaklaşık Hataların Ortalama Karekökü (RMSEA) = .066, Karşılaştırmalı Uyum İndeksi (CFI)= .95, Uyum İyiliği İndeksi (GFI) = .93 ve Tucker-Lewis İndeksi (TLI) = .93 olduğu gözlenmiştir. Uyum geçerliği çalışmasında Olumlu Mükemmeliyetçilik Alt Ölçeği ile R-ÇEMÖ’nün alt boyutları arasında sırasıyla r = .37, .27, .28, .16 (p < .01) ilişkiler bulunmuştur. Ölçeğin normal zekâ düzeyindeki çocuklarda iç tutarlılık Cronbach alfa ve McDonald Omega güvenirlik değerleri kendi yönelimli olumlu mükemmeliyetçilik boyutu için α = .80, ω = .81; kendi yönelimli olumsuz mükemmeliyetçilik boyutu için α = .78, ω = .79; sosyal olarak belirlenmiş olumlu mükemmeliyetçilik boyutu için α = .82, ω = .82; sosyal olarak belirlenmiş olumsuz mükemmeliyetçilik boyutu için α =.89, ω = .89 hesaplanmıştır. Aynı formun üstün yetenekli öğrencilerdeki uyum iyiliği değerleri CMIN/sd = 2.85, CFI = .94, GFI = .92, IFI= .94, NFI = .91, RMSEA = .069, SRMR = .06, TLI = .92 olarak tespit edilmiştir. Ölçeğin üstün yeteneklilerde iç tutarlılık Cronbach alfa ve McDonald Omega güvenirlik değerleri kendi yönelimli olumlu mükemmeliyetçilik boyutu için α = .77, ω = .79; kendi yönelimli olumsuz mükemmeliyetçilik boyutu için α = .80, ω = .81; sosyal olarak belirlenmiş olumlu mükemmeliyetçilik boyutu için α = .79, ω = .79; sosyal olarak belirlenmiş olumsuz mükemmeliyetçilik boyutu için α = .89, ω = .89 hesaplanmıştır. Ölçeğin normal ve üstün yetenekli çocuklarda psikometrik değerleri alanyazındaki ölçütler ile tartışılmıştır.
The aim of this study was to adapt the Revising Child and Adolescent Perfectionism Scale into Turkish and to assess its psychometric values in both gifted and normal children. The participants of the study are 411 normally developing children and adolescents from different cities in Türkiye and 386 gifted children and adolescents with an IQ score of 130 and above who are attending Science and Art Centers. Revising the Child and Adolescent Perfectionism Scale, The Positive and Negative Perfectionism Scale, and The Narcissistic Admiration and Rivalry Scale were used as data collection tools. It was observed that the goodness of fit values of the Child and Adolescent Perfectionism Scale in normal children were chi-square minimum (CMIN) = 265.57, degrees of freedom (df) = 96, CMIN/df = 2.77, Standardized Root Mean Square Residual (SRMR) = .055, Root Mean Square Error of Approximation (RMSEA) = .066, Comparative Fit Index (CFI) = .95, Goodness of Fit Index (GFI) = .93, and Tucker–Lewis Index (TLI) = .93. In the concurrent validity study, r = .37, .27, .28, .16 (p < .01) relationships were found between the Positive Perfectionism Subscale and the subscales of the Revised Child and Adolescent Perfectionism Scale, respectively. The internal consistency Cronbach’s alpha and McDonald Omega reliability values of the scale were calculated as α = .80, ω = .81 for positive self-oriented perfectionism subscale; α = .78, ω = .79 for negative self-oriented perfectionism subscale; α = .82, ω = .82 for positive socially prescribed perfectionism subscale; α = .89, ω = .89 for negative socially prescribed perfectionism subscale in normal students. The goodness of fit values of the same form in gifted students were determined as CMIN/df = 2.85, CFI = .94, GFI = .92, IFI = .94, NFI = .91, RMSEA = .069, SRMR = .06, TLI = .92. The internal consistency Cronbach’s alpha and McDonald Omega reliability values of the scale were calculated as α = .77, ω = .79 for positive self-oriented perfectionism subscale; α = .80, ω = .81 for negative self-oriented perfectionism subscale; α = .79, ω = .79 for positive socially prescribed perfectionism; α = .89, ω = .89 for negative socially prescribed perfectionism in gifted students. Psychometric values were discussed with the criteria in the literature.
