Özet

This research work was carried out to determine the grain losses during harvesting and threshing of paddy in Turkey. Grain losses varied from 6. 6% to 9. 1%. The machines are never suitable for Turkey's conditions because most of them have come from abroad years before and now they are out of production. It is necessary to produce new and more suitable machines for the mechanization of paddy production in Turkey.
