Özet
Recently, there has been a significant increase in patient population who admitted to a physician or medical service for a routine check-up. However, this supposedly preventive demand is being sensed as a routine procedure for health care professionals, also. On the other hand, this issue has debatable points on; whom, when, and how to perform, yet. The model of practice consists of medical records, physical examination, and standard laboratory examinations for an asymptomatic patient have great disadvantages at respect of work and cost affectivity, to perform large populations. Besides, "check-up" has not assumed to have a strict diagnostic value on asymptomatic patients. In this review, we objected to evaluate efficiency of "check-up" as a preventive health care measure, at respect of guidelines.
