Bu çalışmada görsel önyargıların sanat algısına etkileri irdelenmektedir. Bunagöre görsel önyargılar, zihnin, alımlama sürecinde geçmişte bellekte biriken veyer eden kategorileştirilmiş hazır imge ve sembollere başvurmasındankaynaklanmaktadır. Kategorileştirme, yeni bir şeyi tanımlamaya veönyargılarımızla uyuşan belli davranışları beklememize yardım etmektedir. Busüreçte görsel algı, görsel önyargılar tarafından koşullandırılmakta ve görsel veri,mevcut beklentiler doğrultusunda algılanmaktadır. Bu yönlendirilmiş algı, sanatyapıtında farklı olanın derinlemesine veya nesnel olarak alımlanmasına engelolmaktadır. Araştırmanın amacı, sanat yapıtını alımlama sürecinde görselönyargılara dikkat çekerek bu konuda farkındalığı artırmaktır. Araştırma literatürtaramasına dayalı betimsel bir çalışmadır.
In this study, the influences by the visual prejudices on the perception of art are argued. Accordingly, in the reception process, the visual prejudices is caused by the resorting of mind to categorized images and symbols embedded in the memory. Categorization helps us to identify something new and to expect certaion behaviors that matches with our prejudices. In this process, visual perception is conditioned by visual prejudices and visual data is perceived in the direction of existing expectations. Those oriented perception prevent recepted the differential in the artwork, profoundly and objectively. The purpose of the study is to drawing attention to increase awareness of visual prejudices in the process of reception of artwork. The research is a descriptive study that based on a literature review.
