Özet

Bassus beyarslani sp. n. from Turkey is described and illustrated. The new species is differentiated by the absence of prepectal carina, notauli and precoxal sulcus and sculpturing of mesoscutum and mesosternal sulcus. The combination of these characters is sufficient to distinguish this new species from other species of Bassus.
