Özet

The topic of this paper is the development of a tertiary language didactic mediation program. The work is aimed at Turkish students learning German as a foreign language at universities in Turkey. They are language beginners with no prior knowledge. After presenting the state of research, the methods of foreign language teaching are discussed. They are also relevant for teaching German as a foreign language. Then, characteristics of tertiary language teaching are treated, and teaching materials are created as an example of the presented concept, which are included in the appendix. The work is completed with conclusions.
