ÖZEL EĞİTİM OKULLARINDA ÇALIŞAN ÖĞRETMENLERİN MESLEKİ ÖZYETERLİK DÜZEYLERİNİN ÇEŞİTLİ DEĞİŞKENLER AÇISINDAN İNCELENMESİ

Özet

Bu araştırmanın amacı özel eğitim okullarındaçalışan öğretmenlerin öğretmen öz-yeterlik düzeyleriniçeşitli değişkenler açısından incelemektir. Araştırma2017-2018 eğitim-öğretim yılı içerisinde İstanbul ili MilliEğitim Müdürlüğüne bağlı özel eğitim kurumlarındaçalışan 369 öğretmenle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmadabetimsel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanınverileri Tschannen-Moran ve Hoy (2001) tarafındangeliştirilen, Çapa, Çakıroğlu ve Sarıkaya (2005) tarafındanTürkçeye uyarlanan “Öğretmen Öz-yeterlik Ölçeği”kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizi için SPSS 22.0paket programı kullanılmıştır. Araştırma verilerinenormallik testi uygulanmıştır. Normal testi sonucundaverilerin normal dağılım gösterdiği gözlenmiş bu sebeplebağımsız örneklem t-testi ve tek yönlü ANOVA testiuygulanmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre cinsiyetdeğişkeni açısından genel ölçek puanında ve ölçek altboyutlarında kadın öğretmenlerin lehine ve özel eğitimdeçalışmayı uygun görme değişkeni açısından genel ölçekpuanında ve ölçek alt boyutlarında özel eğitimdeçalışmayı uygun gören öğretmenlerin lehine anlamlıfarklılık gözlenmiştir. Buna karşın iş arkadaşlarındandestek görme, idarecilerden destek görme, çalıştığıyetersizlik grubu, yaş ve çalışma yılı değişkenlerindegenel ölçek puanında ve ölçek tüm alt boyutlarda anlamlıbir farklılık gözlenmemiştir.
The aim of this study is to examine the self-efficacy levels of teachers working at special education schools in terms of certain variables. The study was carried out with 369 teachers working at special education institutions under the Directorate of National Education in Istanbul in the academic year between 2017 and 2018. The descriptive survey model was used in the study. The data of the research were obtained using the “Teacher SelfEfficacy Scale” developed by Tschannen-Moran and Hoy (2001) which was later adapted into Turkish by Çapa,Çakıroğlu and Sarıkaya (2005). SPSS 22.0 package software was used for data analysis. Then, T-test and ANOVA was used for the analysis of the data with normal distribution. At the end of the study, a statistically significant difference in favor of female teachers was determined in the general scale score and sub-dimensions of the scale with regard to the gender and accepting to work in special education variables. However, no statistically significant difference was determined in the general scale scores and all sub-dimensions with regard to the findings for the variables concerning getting support from colleagues and administrators, student group, age and years of experience.
