Özet

The professional self-portrait for the teaching profession reflects the teaching philosophy of the teachers. The aim of this study was to present the professional self-portraits of GFL teacher candidates and experienced GFL teachers in Türkiye. In this context, 25 GFL teacher candidates and 20 experienced GFL teachers took part in the study and answered 12 open-ended questions. The results of the study showed that there are both differences and similarities between the two groups of participants regarding their professional self- portraits and teaching philosophy.
